Mountains in flames on June 20, 2026
Every year: mountain fires at the summer solstice! As the absolute event highlight of the region, the longest day and the shortest night are duly celebrated with spectacular fire motifs. Every year on the third Saturday in June, the Ehrwald-Lermoos-Biberwier basin shines in a very special light. Don’t miss this unique event on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze ! Start is at 9:30 pm!
By the way: Since 2010, the mountain fires of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena have been part of the UNESCO Intangible World Heritage Site.
