Did you know that…
… the Dengg family has always placed a high value on the responsible use of resources and a close connection to Tyrol?
Collaboration with businesses in Lermoos and the surrounding area already played an important role during the construction of the new building in 2006. Thanks to the district heating plant in Lermoos and modern building technology, 120,000 liters of heating oil are saved each year.
The sensitive recycling of residual materials is a further contribution to environmentally conscious living in the midst of an impressive natural backdrop, in which people can also flourish: with a great deal of social commitment to charitable organizations and local associations, such as the “Rettet das Kind Tirol” association, “Lebenshilfe Tirol”, the kindergarten and the primary and secondary school.

Our heating plant in Lermoos
Already awarded several times
The hotel’s heating needs are met by the Lermoos district heating plant, which is fueled by wood from Tyrol. Thanks to this investment in renewable energy sources, we have already won several awards. The heating plant underscores our commitment to the responsible use of resources and is an important part of our hotel’s heating system.
What do we do in detail:

The entire hotel is heated by the Lermoos district heating plant, which runs on wood from Tyrol. The Dengg family played a key role in making this form of heat generation a reality!
- All hotel linens are laundered directly in our hotel’s on-site laundry facility.
- We run our own farm in Lermoos, from which we use milk, eggs and meat in our kitchen.
- Our technology in the pool and spa area is state of the art, which saves further CO² emissions.
- We offer refill products in the room and in the SPA area for the duration of your stay to avoid unnecessary plastic waste in small bottles.
- We have our own herb garden at the Postschlössl.
- You will find three charging stations for electric cars below our underground car park if you arrive without an internal combustion engine.
- With our charity projects and the annual charity golf tournament in July, we always support local people with disabilities in order to create new perspectives for our fellow human beings in the surrounding area and to support them in the process.
- The Hotel Post in Lermoos also works exclusively with local construction and furnishing companies for all renovation work, as our region and the local economy are important to us!
