Family Angelika & Franz Dengg
Pamper with natural down-to-earthness at the highest level.
It is the cheeky contrasts that make the Hotel Post so incomparable. The joy with which every day is lived. The happiness that seems hidden in every detail – and that the host family Dengg has put in with complete devotion. Nothing is left to chance and yet you can feel this trusting vibrancy everywhere. This in-the-woman rest. This likes and all being there that the hosts radiate. In every conversation, in exchange with the employees, in personal service: everywhere counts the moment, the person, the coexistence, which makes the luxury of the house even more irresistible.
Beyond great words, what really endures is happening. Every decision has the potential to give more. Better to live. to act more sustainably. And this at all levels: with the employees, whose well-being is our highest asset. With nature, whose power drives us forward. With the companies of the region, which give our house its authentic alpine facets. With the social environment that wants to be supported and helped to shape.
These guiding principles, this commitment to the good and constructive are a self-understanding for the Dengg family.
It’s a back-giving and saying thank you. Mostly in silence – and always out of conviction.
More than 460 years old
But not a bit quiet
Hosts since 1986.
In 1986, Elfriede Jäger, née Dengg, the Hotel Post with today’s Post Schlössl to her cousin Franz Dengg sen. and his son Horst Dengg, father of Franz Dengg, who today, together with his wife Angelika Dengg, manages this heritage as Alpine Luxury Gourmet & SPA Hotel Post and thus as one of the most sophisticated addresses in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. As the operator of the Tyrolean Zugspitzbahn, the founding hotel of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Golf Course and the host of the Hotel Post, they provide valuable impulses for a region whose diversity and natural beauty are unparalleled.
Did you know that…
.. the host family Dengg has always attached great importance to environmental protection and responsible management?
Regional added value, close cooperation with local companies and short transport routes were not only decisive for the new building in 2006, but are also faithful principles. Thanks to the bio-heating plant in the Wacht and modern building technology, 120,000 litres of heating oil are saved every year.
The sensitive recycling of residual materials is another contribution to environmentally conscious life in the midst of an impressive natural setting. In which also people are allowed to flourish: with a lot of social commitment for non-profit organizations and local associations, such as the association “Save the Child Tyrol”, the “Lebenshilfe Tirol”, the kindergarten, the elementary and secondary school
