Incompatibility with accessibility regulations:

Some images and graphics still have inadequate or missing alternative text. The success criterion “non-textual content” is therefore violated. We endeavor to provide appropriate alternative texts for new content immediately and to revise older content on an ongoing basis. The deficiencies in the following success criteria will be rectified by our content team and our technical department in the next development cycles:

Content from third parties / external services

The online booking function is provided by an external service provider (HotelNetSolutions GmbH, OnePageBooking). As this content is technically loaded by a third party and provided on their servers, we have no direct influence on the full accessibility of the source code and the underlying programming (e.g. screen reader optimization or specific keyboard controls).
Our web pages are presented in accordance with current technical possibilities and standards. We have randomly checked the order in which elements in the main content are technically displayed. If you notice any problems with the realization of individual elements, please let us know.

Disproportionate burden

Some of our videos do not have an audio description. This means that the WCAG success criterion (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that correcting this would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations. The video on the homepage, which is automatically played in the header, does not have audio and therefore does not require an audio description.

If you are not satisfied with the answers from the above contact option, you can contact the Social Ministry Service. The Social Ministry Service (SMS) is the competent market surveillance authority for compliance with accessibility requirements for products and services in accordance with the Accessibility Act (BaFG).

There is also the option of applying to the Social Ministry Service for a conciliation procedure in the event of discrimination due to a lack of accessibility.
