The 4-star Superior Hotel Post in Lermoos has matured over its 450-year history. All the staff and the Dengg family, who run the hotel, play their part in this. They are what make up what our guests know today as the “Post”—its charm, its zest for life, and its strong character. Humanity, warmth, and hospitality. Being able to look back on such a long history makes us very proud. It is exciting to see how things turned out. 300 years of commercial law and 450 years of the Hotel Post are behind us. Milestone achievements that we owe to the people that made them possible. Our staff, our guests, and your hosts – the Dengg family. All of them have left their mark on our hotel with their charisma, authenticity, and laughter, and they give us reason to look to the future filled with hope and joy.

Running a hotel means bearing responsibility – for the Hotel Post in Lermoos, its staff and its guests. Living a certain philosophy, standing up for a certain set of values, thinking of today and of tomorrow. aking decisions that improve lives and utilise potential. In cooperation with partner enterprises in the region, with a commitment to local charities and organisations (for instance “Rettet das Kind Tirol” or “Lebenshilfe Tirol”), and in conjunction with the other Dengg family enterprises in Tyrol. For the well-being of all of those who come together at the Post. This has been our goal since 1986 and will continue to be so in future.

What we’re actually doing.
The Hotel Post’s close ties to Lermoos and the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena have defined the hotel for generations. We collaborate with local businesses, source select products from our own farm, and use the district heating plant in Lermoos for our heating needs. Thanks to district heating and modern building technology, we are able to save approximately 120,000 liters of heating oil annually compared to our previous heating system.
