Well prepared on the rocks – safety and equipment

The variety of climbing routes in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena not only challenges your climbing technique, but also your preparation. Professional equipment is essential, especially for beginners: a helmet, harness, climbing rope and belay device are mandatory, as is a certified via ferrata set with a shock absorber, which is part of the standard equipment. When choosing a route, make sure to adapt the difficulty of the route to your ability and find out in advance about safety measures and conditions. As the weather can change quickly in the mountains, it is essential to check the weather forecast. You should also check the safety measures with your partner before setting off – four eyes see more than two.
