Autumn nature experience at the Hotel Post Lermoos
During the rutting season in September, our guests can enjoy a very special experience: on a guided hike through the fascinating autumnal natural landscape of the hotel’s own hunting grounds, they can experience the rutting season of the stags up close. The experience is rounded off with a mountain snack in the rustic hunting lodge with a view over wide alpine meadows and the impressive mountain panorama.

In the autumn mating season, the male red deer proudly present their
impressive antlers and put on an impressive show during their competitive fights.
The Ganghofer Jagd, with its 3,300 hectares of Alpine natural landscape, is part of our four-star
superior hotel and offers guests the opportunity to discover the Big Five of the Tyrolean Alps alongside red deer with a little luck: ibexes, chamois, bearded vultures, golden eagles and the cute marmots are at home there.

After the exciting hike with hiking guide Walter with numerous animal and
nature observations, a stylish, hearty snack awaits the group at our
hunting lodge. Crispy rolls, fresh farmer’s omelettes and many
other regional delicacies round off the morning’s culinary delights. On the sunny
panoramic terrace with views over Lake Iglsee and the Gaistal valley, you can feel the connection to nature in the rustic ambience of the hut. Guests can return to the hotel after a leisurely hike or by taking the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car.

With the Zugspitze Highlights package, we offer five nights in one of the cosy Post suites including a Z-ticket for the use of the mountain railroads, a SPA voucher, the Post activity program and the Bergsport TOTAL hiking program from € 1,308.00 per person.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Hotel Post in Lermoos and
wish you an unforgettable time!
See you
Angelika & Franz Dengg and the entire Post team
