The Tyrolean mountain pastures are famous for their beauty. See for yourself!
Many Alpine pastures in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena are used for farming. This is where the Tyrolean cows spend their summer holidays.
On some Alpine pastures you can see how fresh milk is made into fine cheese. In rustic shelters, hikers can recharge their batteries with speck and home-made farmer’s bread for the road ahead. However, if you have a few shots of Schnapps, you may decide to stay in the shelter for a little longer.
You can reach the picturesque Tuftl-Alm at 1.496 m from the fish farm in Lermoos via "Böser Winkel". Via Kärletal valley and the scenic panorama path you return to Lermoos. Grubigalm and Wolfratshauser shelter at 1.751 m can be reached via a path that runs above the Pestkapelle chapel and takes you via Sieben Bränd to Brettalm and from there to Wolfratshauser shelter via the E.-Jäger-Steig path. Take the scenic panorama path to Grubigalm and return on the Grubigsteinbahn cable car or on foot.
