The beautiful home of Angelika and Franz Dengg not only has a spectacularly idyllic location, but also charms visitors with its excellent cuisine. The restaurant's parlour rooms are furnished in traditional wood with a dash of modern Alpine style and beautiful seasonal decorations, all of which make it the perfect location for captivating an international audience with its regional gourmet delights. The young Tyrolean head chef Michael Kramer, who is deeply rooted in his native region, uses quality produce from local farmers and producers. The 28-year-old, whose training included stints in the USA and at the "Schwarzer Adler" in Kitzbühel, took over the kitchen at this luxury establishment just six months ago. Kramer places great emphasis on well-balanced and nutritious dishes, from the extensive breakfast buffet to the 6-course set menu in the evening and the à la carte selection. Your plate is sure to contain a creative marvel, whether you order international gourmet cuisine such as galangal and ginger soup, calamari and peas, or traditional Tyrolean delicacies such as roast beef and onions with roast potatoes and vegetables.

Professional sommelier Markus Saletz can recommend the perfect wine to accompany your meal. His legendary wine menu contains a selection of some 700 varieties and is sure to cater for all tastes. His top tips include wines such as Grüner Veltliner Liebedich, Veyder-Malberg from Spitz in the Wachau Valley, Weißburgunder Reine Seele by Matthias Trumer of south-eastern Styria, along with a Pouilly Fumé Silex, Dagueneau, from the Loire Valley in France, a Malvasia, Edi Kante, Carse Friaul or a Chateau Musar red from the Hochar family in Lebanon.

Gourmet cuisine with a regional flavour

Our cuisine is firmly rooted in this region and uses seasonal produce from the surrounding area and from local farmers where possible. From the breakfast buffet to the 6-course set menu in the evening and the á la carte selection, dishes are balanced and nutritious. Creative interpretations of international gourmet cuisine and traditional Tyrolean delicacies are presented beautifully on the plate.
