Since Spring 2012 we have been offering to our guests at the Hotel Post in Lermoos  an exclusive hunting area at the foot of the Zugspitze for red deer, roe deer, chamois, marmots and black cocks. Experienced hunters as well as those with an interest in hunting and climbers can discover an enchanting area of more than 3100 hectares of Alpine countryside. The extensive hunting ground is easy to reach by jeep or on foot.  Also guests who simply want to observe animals in the wild, practice the art of tracking or who want to experience a jolly evening in a real hunter's hut will find just what they're looking for. We can show you the best places, for example the natural beauty spots of the Sebensee or Iglsee!

Every hunt has its traditional hunting hut for social gatherings. Our hunting hut for the Ganghofer Hunt offers space for both large and small hunting parties, walking groups, wildlife observers and nature lovers.  The large sun terrace guarantees  fabulous panoramic views over the surrounding mountains. Here you can enjoy, in natural surroundings, a hearty breakfast while watching the sun rise, a Tyrol afternoon snack or an evening  barbecue  on the mountain.

The hut can only be  used on request and is not staffed on a regular basis.
